Behold the Power of Cake...Part II
So here it is, the promised Behold the Power of Cake Part II.
It was at my other account. It began strangely similar to the first experience. My boss at that account - Sheilia - came into the room while we were setting up and said. "Mmmm, it smells good in here."
I was like - 'Yah, this is sounding kind-of familiar.'
So while we're working suddenly one of the employees pops in and says, "I just wanted to say we really appreciate all those cakes you've been leaving us." *smile*
I'm thinking, this is a plot...But this cake was promised to all the PMC girls and "Mom" so they were out of luck!
So, there I am, cleaning up AFTER class when an employee comes in with two trainees. "This is one of our smaller classrooms. We just had a Wilton Class in here....Any cake today?"
"Sorry, today's is promised."
"Drat..." She turns to the trainees and is like, "Sometimes she leaves the cakes for us to eat." (Incentives for working there. Cakes in the breakroom.)
So I had this demonstration to do (Come to my class type of thing). And all the passerbys are like, "Do you need a tastetester for that?"
"We'll gladly take that off your hands."
"You giving pieces of that away?"

So once again I was left amazed at the POWER OF CAKE. Really, I didn't know it had this kind of affect on people. But it obviously does...
